BuildingPlans.ng set out to redefine how architectural designs are accessed and purchased in Nigeria.
Instead of the long, manual processes that require visiting physical offices, negotiating with designers, or dealing with inconsistent deliverables, the platform brings the entire experience online — product discovery, plan selection, customization, and secure purchase — all in one place.
I was responsible for transforming this vision into a fully functional digital product from the ground up. The project demanded a delicate balance of eCommerce engineering, media optimization, workflow automation, and architecture-industry domain logic.
I architected the entire platform — backend and frontend — ensuring lightning-fast loading speeds for image-heavy content, secure payment flows for high-value transactions, and a smooth user journey for browsing hundreds of residential, commercial, and industrial blueprints. The system supports both ready-made architectural plans and custom requests.
Beyond the customer-facing store, I implemented internal administrative tools for managing products, processing orders, verifying payments, and handling custom plan requests. Everything was built with performance and scalability in mind.

These features enable the organization to efficiently manage operations, maintain transparency, and ensure customers receive accurate updates throughout the purchase and delivery process. Everything was built with performance and scalability in mind.
